Teacher Thank You ...

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a Teacher Thank You card featuring Great Impressions Stamps.

I pulled out the Being You Sentiment, and inked up just the "Thank You" part of the sentiment for today's card. I made an apple using the Papertry Ink Apple Prints Dies, added some googly eyes and twine to add a smiley face to my apple. I layered the "Thank You" on my Bazzill Candy Apple Red cardbase which features AMS school-lined cardstock, and used 3D foam tape to add the apple. To finish my card off I added 3 cherry enamel dots to the upper right hand corner.

Until next week ... Enjoy!

Bouquet of Flowers ...

Good morning! I'm back today with two (2) cards that were created using Ken Oliver Color Burst Brights and stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps!

This is my first time using Ken Oliver Color Burst, so there was a lot of trial and error type of creating to make my cards. I watched several Videos over on the Rubbernecker Stamps Store to learn how to use the Color Burst. After many tries, I finally got it right.

Using Rubbernecker Stamps Watercolor Paper for my cardstock, I stamped the Bouquet 919 on my paper, and then stamped it again because there was still ink on the stamp. There are 2-stamps in the Bouquet 919. One for the background which I used the Color Burst on, and one for the outline. The outline was stamped with Versa Mark Watermark Ink, and embossed with Black Embossing Powder.

Once the stamps were dry, I cut each of the Bouquets images into panels so that I could make my cards.

The first card features paper created with Ken Oliver Color Burst (shown above). I added the Color Burst to the Watercolor Paper and then sprayed water on it with a Mini Mister. Once the paper was dry I used my MFT Hz Stitched Strips to cut the panels for my background, layered everything on my cardbase and then added my border and sentiment from the Freehand Border Phrase Set 900. Final step was to add enamel dots to 3 corners.

Here is the second card I created using the same stamp sets.

Wildflowers in the Wind ...

Good morning! I'm back today with a lovely friendship card featuring Rubbernecker Stamps!

The lovely Wildflowers in the Wind stamp is truly awesome to work with. Each section of the stamp is it's own piece, and make it so easy to change up the colors. I stamped the Wildflowers in the Wind stamp with A Muse Pigment Ink, cut it out with my MFT Pierced Square Stax Die, and then cut another piece out using green cardstock to layer it on.  The sentiment and border is one of many in the Freehand Border Phrase Stamp Set, which I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, cut it out and added two (2) Pierced Square Stax Dies behind it. The ribbon is White Seam Binding that I died with the same ink that was used for the grass part of the Wildflowers in the Wind stamp.

Once the Seam Binding dried, I pulled it all together on my cherry card with Graphic 45 DP in the background.

Pink Flamingo ...

Good morning ! Today I'm sharing a FUN Summer card featuring Great Impressions Stamps

I couldn't resist getting the new adorable Floating Flamingo to play with. I stamped this beauty with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored her up with my Copic Markers, used my Copic Airbrush around the image and cut her out with my Pierced Square Die.

Once done I pulled out some FUN Summer DP to create my background, adding the State of Mind Sentiment to the bottom panel which I Airbrushed to match my Floating Flamingo panel. Final step was to layer the Floating Flamingo panel with 3D Foam Tape to my card design.

Until next week ... Enjoy!

Baby Girl Photo Album ...

Good morning! Recently I saw several videos over on the Mini Album Swaps and More FB Page on creating a Baby Album, and decided to give it a try.

This is the first time I've ever made an album like this, and now that the Baby Shower is over and the mommy to be received her gift I can share it with all of you. There are a LOT of photos to share, and I will link the video's at the end of my post.

The Easel below can be taken out of the front cover,
and can be used as a Stand-A-Lone on your table.

There are 3 videos I watched by Tammy to create this album.

If you are a Newbie, like I am, to making albums I recommend that you watch the videos completely before attempting to start creating one. While watching I took meticulous notes of the different sizes cardstock that was needed to create my album.

This Baby Album was a labor of love, and the mommy to be really LOVED it!
